If you’re wanting to run your first, your fastest or your most orange 10k yet – this is the race for you.

Newton Cambridge Town and Gown is our autumn run of the series. The 2020 event will be the ninth year of the run. The scenic route takes you through the heart of Cambridge passing many landmarks, historic University College buildings and along the River Cam.

All of our runs our licenced by Run Britain and we're proud to be the recipient of a Bronze award for the Best 10k in East England by The Running Awards 2018.

2016 Cambridge Town&Gown 10k, in aid of Muscular Dystrophy

Newton Cambridge Town and Gown 10k route

The route will take you into the heart of Cambridge, passing many historic University College buildings.  Take a look around as you run through these closed streets – they really are stunning. You will then come out of the city centre, enter the well-groomed Jesus Green and run along the River Cam before hitting the roads again to make your way to the finish.

Water will be available at 4.5km and 8.5km – delivered to you by our amazing volunteers!
